Photography tours and workshops in india

I am a photographer who has spent years walking, travelling, and working across India, learning the country through people rather than places. My work grows from real encounters—on the streets, in villages, in spiritual spaces, and inside everyday life.

I lead photography tours and workshops across India. Recent tours and workshops have been conducted in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh (Agra, Varanasi), West Bengal (Kolkata), North East India, and South India. Each place offers a different rhythm, culture, and way of seeing, and I guide photographers through these environments with patience and local understanding.

My focus is on portrait, street, spiritual, and documentary photography. I work closely with people—sadhus, tribal communities, workers, families, and individuals living ordinary, but powerful lives. I believe strong photographs come from respect, time, and honest connection, not from rushing or staging moments.

These photography journeys are available to all kinds of photographers—beginners, enthusiasts, and professionals—using a camera or a mobile phone. What matters most is curiosity, openness, and the desire to learn how to observe and photograph people with sensitivity.

I do not follow fixed formulas or tourist routes. Every tour or workshop is flexible and shaped by the participants and the situation on the ground. I share what I have learnt through experience—how to approach people, read light, wait for moments, and tell stories visually in unfamiliar and sometimes challenging environments.

Although based in Varanasi, I am always ready to collaborate, and travel to other locations in the country to create tailored photography experiences. I welcome photographers who want to spend real time in India, work seriously on their photography, and build images with meaning.

This work matters deeply to me. What I offer (my photography tours, workshops, mentoring and project collaboration) is not solely a profession: it is my way of life.
